Madame Tussauds Hong Kong handpicks the biggest and brightest stars to be immortalized in their hallowed halls every year. Soon to join their coveted ranks is Korean actor Ahn Hyo Seop, who captivated hearts everywhere in 2022 for his charming portrayal of CEO Kang Tae-Moo in Business Proposal.
Apart from Business Proposal, the Korean heartthrob has proven his acting excellence in other highly successful K-dramas like A Time Called You, Dr. Romantic Season 2, Dr. Romantic Season 3, and Lovers of the Red Sky. His award-winning performances have garnered him acclaim in South Korea and around the world. Hyo Seop’s momentum will soon continue in the highly anticipated movie The Prophet: Omniscient Reader, a film adaptation of the popular web novel that’s gained 200 million views since its release in 2018.

Hyo Seop last visited Hong Kong in 2023 for his The Present Show Fan Meet. His scheduled return for this momentous achievement is sure to excite fans especially with the rare opportunity to experience a “romantic proposal” with him up close once his statue is revealed.
The big unveiling is expected to happen in the first half of 2025. It will mark another major milestone for Hyo Seop as he’s also set to celebrate his 10th anniversary in the industry next year.
