Vice Ganda made a humorous remark about the controversial “confidential fund” during the November 30 episode of ‘It’s Showtime,’ sparking laughter from both the studio audience and fellow hosts.
The punchline came during the segment ‘And The Breadwinner Is,’ formerly known as ‘Trabahula.’
The guest for the episode was Kapamilya actor, model, and dancer Jameson Blake, who was invited to guess which of the three contestants was the accountant.
As Vice Ganda listed the prices of essential goods—rice, pork, chicken, and water—he tossed in a playful comment about the “confidential fund.”
“Kung ang kilo ng bigas ay ₱50, at ang kilo ng baboy ay ₱300, at ang kilo ng manok ay ₱280, at ang tubig ngayon ay ₱150 ang isang litro, magkano ang confidential fund…?” Vice Ganda joked, causing the audience and co-hosts to burst into laughter.
Vhong Navarro, one of the show’s hosts, quickly responded, “Malayo, malayo ‘yong sagot niya eh,” keeping the playful exchange going. Vice Ganda continued the joke, asking, “Hindi ba sila ang nagko-compute no’n?” before adding, “Saan napunta… char…,” as he approached Jameson and his co-hosts.

While Vice did not specifically name anyone, the reference to the “confidential fund” comes amid public scrutiny of Vice President Sara Duterte. The issue has centered around the use of such funds during her tenure as Secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd), with speculations about a potential impeachment case against the Vice President making headlines.
