Dragons Entertainment Productions Inc., co-founded by celebrated beauty expert Bambbi Fuentes and entrepreneur Tine Areola of Baitlehem, formally unveiled its new generation of talents—the Dragon Babies—during a grand launch event held at Music Box in Quezon City on January 5, 2025.
The highly anticipated lineup includes individual artists Khai Flores, Shira Tweg, Jace Eusebio, RJ Enzo, Jay Montero, and Migs Coloma, alongside girl groups Gandaras and Irizz. The event showcased the diverse skills of the Dragon Babies, from acting to singing and dancing, positioning them as future stars in various entertainment fields.
One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of ‘Sugat sa Dugo’ (Wounded Blood), Dragons Entertainment’s advocacy film that gained international acclaim. The film’s lead stars, Shira Tweg and Khai Flores, were awarded Best New Actress and Best New Actor, respectively, at the 39th PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Meanwhile, veteran actress Janice de Belen also received an international acting award for her powerful performance in the film.
During the launch, the girl groups Gandaras and Ir1zz impressed attendees with dynamic performances, solidifying their place as standout acts in the local music scene.
Bambbi Fuentes, known for her unparalleled expertise in grooming talents and an eye for discovering future stars, expressed her excitement for this new venture. “We’ve worked hard to prepare them for every opportunity that comes their way,” she said.
With 2025 marking a pivotal year for the entertainment industry, the timing of the Dragon Babies’ debut is symbolic, coinciding with the close of the Year of the Wood Dragon on January 28 and the arrival of the Year of the Wood Snake on January 21.
