Actor Jake Ejercito has denied that his recent cryptic Facebook post had anything to do with the ongoing controversy surrounding his former partner Andi Eigenmann and her husband Philmar Alipayo.
In a Facebook post on February 7, Jake wrote, “Wala akong feelings about it.” The vague nature of the statement sparked speculations from netizens, many of whom assumed it referred to the rumored conflict between Eigenmann and Alipayo.
Fans and social media users flooded Jake’s post with various comments, connecting it to his past relationship with Andi. Others speculated about Jake’s lingering feelings for Andi.
Annoyed by the growing rumors, Jake addressed the comments directly in the post’s thread, clarifying that his post was not related to Andi or Philmar.
“Stop putting a spin into the post. Dahil dito lang ‘yan,” Jake wrote, attaching a link to a news article about Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment issue.
He followed up with a pointed remark, saying, “God save the tsismosas.”
Jake Ejercito and Andi Eigenmann share a daughter, Elle, and co-parent her despite their past romantic relationship. Andi has since settled down with Alipayo and is raising their family in Siargao.
