Social media personality and DJ Jellie Aw has accused her fiancé Jam Ignacio of physical abuse, sharing graphic images of her bruised and bloodied face after an alleged assault.
Aw took to Facebook on February 12, 2025, posting photos of her injuries alongside a scathing message for Ignacio.
“HAPPY VALENTINES? Ta*na mo, Jam Ignacio. Mapapatay mo ‘ko! Wala akong ginawang masama para ganituhin mo ‘ko. Halos mamatay ako sa ginawa mo! Papakulong kita!”
Her sister, Jo Aw, also spoke out on Facebook, detailing the attack. According to Jo, Jellie was trapped inside a locked vehicle when Ignacio allegedly assaulted her on their way home.
“Bigla na lang pinagsasapak, binugbog habang pauwi ang ate ko, walang kalaban-laban sa loob ng nakalock na sasakyan. Una sa lahat, kahit ano man ang ginawa ng ate ko, wala kang karapatan dampian ng kamay ang ate ko. Ang kapal ng mukha mo, Jam Ignacio!”
Jo further revealed that Ignacio confiscated Jellie’s phone to prevent her from seeking help. However, an unexpected tollgate mishap allowed her to escape.
“Buti na lang hindi nabasa ‘yung RFID sa toll at nakasigaw ‘yung ate ko pagbaba ng bintana. Nakahingi siya ng tulong sa teller sa toll gate. Ngayon, tinakbuhan mo ‘yung mga pulis!”
Jo confirmed that their family has already filed a police report and is preparing legal action against Ignacio.
“Update po kay ate. Magpapamedical na kami ngayon at magrereport na sa pulis!”
Aw also posted an Instagram Story showing the emergency room entrance of a hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries.
The disturbing images quickly went viral, prompting an outpouring of support for Aw and strong condemnation of Ignacio.
Entertainment insider Ogie Diaz reshared the post on Facebook, urging Ignacio to take accountability.
“Grabe! Buti na lang, nawalan ng laman ang RFID, kaya nakahingi ng tulong si Ate sa toll gate teller.
Ayoko namang mag-judge, pero Jam Ignacio, harapin mo ito.”
He also called on women’s rights advocates to assist Aw in seeking justice.
Following the viral posts, Aw issued a direct challenge to Ignacio through Instagram Stories: “Ta*na mo, @jamignacio. Magkita tayo sa kulungan!”
As of this writing, Ignacio has not issued any public statement regarding the allegations.
Ignacio was previously in a high-profile relationship with actress-TV host Karla Estrada before his engagement to Jellie Aw in November 2024, just four months into their relationship.
