Actress Bea Binene took to social media to express her joy and pride after Bam Aquino surged to second place in the partial and unofficial 2025 senatorial race results.

Aquino, whose name had hovered around 12th place in pre-election surveys, surprised many by landing among the top vote-getters with over 20.62 million votes, based on data as of May 13.

Sharing her excitement in an Instagram post, Bea wrote: “Congratulations, Senator @bamaquino! Higit sa lahat, congratulations sa ating lahat, dahil ang panalo ni Sen Bam ay panalo din natin!”

Bea, a vocal supporter of Aquino during the campaign period, lauded the former senator for his integrity and commitment to public service: “Salamat, Senator Bam, dahil mayroon pang mga katulad mo na tapat, may integridad at handa para magserbisyo sa bansa.”

The actress also took a moment to reflect on the broader meaning of the election outcome: “Higit sa lahat… Salamat, Pilipinas, sa pagpapatunay na kapag nagtulong-tulong, nagsama-sama at naniwala, may magagawa pa. Salamat, Pilipinas, sa pagpapaalala na may pag-asa pa at pwede pang umasa.”

She concluded her message with a powerful nod to the youth and a hopeful prayer for the country’s future: “Talaga ngang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan. Malayo na pero malayo pa. May we never lose hope and the courage to hope. Dasal para sa Pilipinas at para sa mga Pilipino.”
