Kapamilya singer-actor and ‘It’s Showtime’ host Darren Espanto made sure to fulfill his civic duty — even if it meant driving for more than six hours.
On the morning of Monday, May 12, Darren took to Instagram to share a selfie taken after casting his vote in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, his designated voting precinct.
“Drove 6 and a half hours to vote today! #Halalan2025,” he wrote in the caption.

Espanto is among the first celebrity voters to show up at the polls early in the day, just as voting officially began at 7 a.m. across the country. Polls are expected to close at 7 p.m.
