Kapamilya love team Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, known collectively as FranSeth, are set to star in their second movie together titled ‘She Who Must Not Be Named’—and it’s already trending ahead of its production.
Following the streaming success of their debut film ‘My Future You’, which quickly climbed to the #1 spot on Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 Movies, fans and netizens alike are eagerly anticipating what the pair has in store next.
The film’s director, Christopher Novabos, confirmed the project through a Facebook post showing the script reading session with the cast and a look test featuring Francine and Seth in character. Also joining the ensemble are Elijah Alejo, Raven Rigor, Kych Minemoto, Kaleb Ong, and Abdul Raman.
“Script-reading,” Novabos simply captioned the post, which was instantly met with excitement from FranSeth fans and moviegoers. According to Direk Christopher, filming is set to begin in June, with a theatrical release eyed for the third quarter of the year.
This new film marks one of two major projects currently lined up for FranSeth. They are also part of ABS-CBN’s upcoming primetime drama ‘Sins of the Father’ alongside Gerald Anderson, Shaina Magdayao, and Jessy Mendiola.
Despite her packed schedule, Francine Diaz continues to juggle her thriving showbiz career and academics. In addition to shooting ‘She Who Must Not Be Named’ and her commitment to ‘Sins of the Father’, reports say she is slated to star in another film later this year.
FranSeth’s on-screen chemistry first drew attention during their time on ‘Kadenang Ginto’, which led to their inclusion in The Gold Squad in 2019. They later reunited in ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba’ (2021), and were officially launched as a love team through the hit series ‘Dirty Linen’ in 2023. They also served as co-hosts of the short-lived noontime show ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’.
