The hit mystery music competition ‘Masked Singer Pilipinas’ returns for its third season starting May 17 and 18 on TV5 and Sari Sari Channel, promising powerhouse performances, dramatic unmaskings, and a fresh batch of celebrity panelists ready to decode the voices behind the masks.

Returning as host is Billy Crawford, now joined by a dynamic new judging panel composed of actress Nadine Lustre, music icons Janno Gibbs and Pops Fernandez, and hitmaker Arthur Nery. This marks a major shift for the show, introducing not only a new judging dynamic but also, for the first time, a live studio audience — a game-changer that Crawford says brings “a whole new level of fun and energy.”
“Now that we have a live audience, the masked singers come alive more — especially the judges and myself. It doesn’t even feel like work,” Crawford shared during the press launch on April 29.
Nadine Lustre, appearing via video call from abroad, called Masked Singer one of her most memorable projects. She revealed her favorite contestant as Foxtastic Samurai, praising the creativity and vocal range that blew her away every episode. “He’s the only one I guessed right!” she added with a laugh.
Meanwhile, Arthur Nery, a former contestant from Season 2, now takes a seat at the judges’ table. “It’s a totally different experience. As a contestant, we couldn’t even talk. Now I get to laugh and bond with everyone,” said Nery, who previously competed under the mask of “Jeepie.”
For Pops Fernandez, the fun was in both the performances and the guessing game. “We were so excited every taping day — teasing, laughing, trying to figure out who’s who. But it wasn’t easy. Some contestants really changed their singing styles.”
Janno Gibbs echoed the same, saying that the contestants made extra effort to be unrecognizable. “Some of them would sing in genres far from their usual, just to throw us off. It made the guessing even more intense.”
The third season features 16 masked celebrity contestants: Astigre, Rats to Riches, Monster Showman, Plantita Turner, Fantasa, Aeroboy, Frog Sinatra, Meowy, Jelly Babe, Monkeylabot, Puppy Love, Mr. T, Kunewho, Gagambini, Susie TV, and Foxtastic Samurai. Only one will be crowned grand champion, and their identity will remain a mystery until the final reveal.
Studio Viva president Valerie Del Rosario promised that Season 3 is their “most spectacular yet,” with each costume, performance, and clue meticulously designed to heighten the suspense and entertainment.
Adapted from the South Korean hit ‘King of Mask Singer’, ‘Masked Singer Pilipinas’ first aired in 2020 and has since grown into a fan favorite. Daryl Ong won Season 1, while Kris Lawrence claimed the crown in Season 2.
Season 3 premieres May 17 and 18 at 7:45 PM on TV5 and Sari Sari Channel, and will air weekly thereafter.
