Content creator Ser Geybin issued a public apology on Tuesday night, May 14, following strong backlash over a now-deleted video titled “Slide”, which showed a young girl sliding down what appeared to be an adult chair.
The video quickly drew criticism from netizens, particularly parents and women, who found the content inappropriate and insensitive—given its suggestive implications and the presence of a minor.
In a Facebook post, Ser Geybin acknowledged his lapse in judgment and took full responsibility: “Magandang Araw po mga Mam and Ser,
The video caught the attention of netizens, including one user named Taki Izayoi, whose post calling out the content went viral on May 12. In her message, she stressed how dangerous and inappropriate it was to involve a child in that type of video:
“Ser Geybin, I honestly don’t see what’s funny in your video. The humor is awful, and putting a child in that kind of situation is dangerous—especially with your wide online reach.
You made a kid sit on a ‘s3x chair,’ showed it shaking, and posted it online—knowing full well there are predators who could misuse that footage.
You’re a teacher, but this shows such poor judgment. You’re laughing like it’s all a joke. It’s not. This is disturbing and irresponsible. Just because shocking content gets more views doesn’t make it right.
Don’t call people overreacting. Adults are responsible for protecting children—not using them for content. This is child exploitation, plain and simple.
Post nonsense all you want, but a child and anything sexual should NEVER be in the same frame. Not now. Not ever.”
While no legal action has been reported as of writing, the incident remains a cautionary tale on the importance of content sensitivity and accountability in digital spaces.
