Internationally-renowned Filipino event designer Gideon Hermosa is celebrating 15 years in the event design industry by hosting the first-ever Gideonized Masterclass in the Philippines. Set to happen from June 30 – July 2, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel Manila, the Gideonized Masterclass is a comprehensive, three-day event in which attendees will learn how to effectively conceptualize and execute designs with Hermosa’s trademark Gideonized approach and use creativity, vision, and innovation to transform events with their own personal flair.
The masterclass will culminate with a gala night on July 2nd that will give participants a chance to showcase their work, enjoy an evening of networking with the biggest names in the industry and have a front seat to the celebration of Hermosa’s 15-year career and seeing “all the things that he loves under one roof.”
“I can’t believe 15 years in the industry have flown by so fast,” Hermosa shares. “I’m incredibly grateful for all the projects we’ve done, the clients I’ve worked and built relationships with, and all those who’ve made this journey one that I am thankful for. Through this masterclass, I hope to give back and open the doors for my peers – most especially for those who are looking to be inspired and start a career in event styling.”

Hermosa started his career with a passion for nature – and, subsequently, flowers – after spending his childhood growing up in a family of farmers. As such, flowers are often central key elements in most of his event designs, making it his own personal touch. While studying in the University of Baguio, he undertook free styling commissions from classmates, not realizing at the time that it would develop into a career. Having embarked on many projects in the past 15 years, Hermosa credits his success to the trust and relationships he has created, both with clients and colleagues.
Hermosa has become a popular designer of choice for high-profile celebrities, styling the weddings of Marian Rivera & Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado & Ben Wintle, Toni Gonzaga & Paul Soriano, to name a few. He and his now hundred-strong team at the House of Hermosa (HoH) are also well known for bringing life into both milestones and celebrations, birthdays, housewarmings, anniversaries, Christmas parties and even homes for the likes of Anne Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, and Bea Alonzo.
In recent years, HoH has also undertaken collaborations with Dolce Gabbana Home, Moët & Chandon, GMA Network, and The Aivee Group, and expanded its projects on a global scale, styling weddings in destinations like Morocco, Greece, Japan, and more.
