Kapuso comedian and actor Sef Cadayona became a trending topic on Sunday night, not because of his TV appearance, but due to a series of fiery Instagram Stories from his ex-partner Nelan Vivero, who questioned his Father’s Day guesting on ‘All-Out Sundays’.
Cadayona was part of the ‘Team Pa-Yummy Daddy’ segment alongside fellow celebrity dads Rodjun Cruz and Kristoffer Martin. However, Nelan—who is not in showbiz—took to social media to air her frustrations, questioning the legitimacy of Sef being publicly celebrated as a father.
“Really? Making money off being a dad? Seriously? Still not done pretending to be someone you’re not? Happy Father’s Day? Celebrating Father’s Day?” she posted, tagging Sef’s official Instagram account.
In another post, Nelan expressed disappointment, saying, “Hiram mag-wish ng gift from your family, di ba? You were already given a complete family. But instead, you chose to prioritize other people… But you let history repeat itself.”
She also shared how she struggled during her pregnancy and postpartum period allegedly without adequate support from Sef or his family.
“Sorry, friends. I know this is messy. I should’ve just stayed quiet, right? Kaso wala eh. Seeing him accept a Father’s Day guesting like he’s done something to deserve it… I was just hoping he’d feel even a little bit of shame,” Nelan wrote.
She ended her outburst with a pointed statement: “Responsibility isn’t something you assign to yourself. It’s something you step up to, no questions asked. Right, @sefcadayona?”
As of writing, Cadayona has yet to respond publicly to the allegations, and his camp has issued no official statement.
LionhearTV remains open to Sef Cadayona’s side of the story.
