Renowned singer-songwriter SHAUN returns with “Night Walk,” a hauntingly immersive new single that paints a vivid portrait of quiet solitude and introspection. The track blends minor-key progressions with soft pulsing rhythms, walking the line between reality and internal reflection.
Lyrically, “Night Walk” explores the sensation of being alone, yet not lonely — “Even alone on this empty street, I didn’t feel lonely.” It builds on the emotional world introduced in May’s release “Pixels”, and hints at what’s to come in his anticipated summer EP.
The official music video, directed by creative director Jonah George (Nike, Lauv, Jeremy Zucker), was shot on the nighttime streets of Tokyo. Using only natural city lights — vending machines, neon signs, and lamplight — the video follows a robed man as he wanders the city, turning SHAUN’s sonic world into a visual poem.
As with all his releases, SHAUN took full creative control — from songwriting to production — further proving himself a trusted and timeless artist who continues to share his story with honesty and vision.
