The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has officially launched the 51st Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E), setting the stage for the country’s most influential gathering of business leaders, policymakers, and innovators.
The conference will run on October 20–21, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Manila with the theme, ‘The Future is Now: Unleash the Power of Digital Transformation.’

Now on its 51st year, the PBC&E has grown into the largest business and technology event in the country, drawing thousands of participants annually. The two-day conference will highlight how digital transformation is shaping industries and accelerating competitiveness for both large enterprises and MSMEs.
“This year is about action — not just talk,” said Dennis Anthony H. Uy, PCCI 51st PBC&E Chairman and Converge CEO/Co-founder. “We are creating a space where ideas become projects, where technology meets opportunity, and where the benefits of digital tools are made accessible to all sectors of society.”
In a historic first, the Technology Expo segment of the PBC&E will be open to the public. Attendees will be able to see, touch, and experience cutting-edge solutions across artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, smart city systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
“This is not just an exhibit — it’s an invitation to participate in the country’s digital transformation journey,” stressed PCCI President Enunina V. Mangio.
Powerhouse brands such as Huawei, Google, Tencent Cloud, Converge, Lenovo, Microsoft, Oracle, Fortinet, Dell, Adobe, Autodesk, Zoom, and San Miguel Corporation are joining the showcase, alongside embassies of Korea, Israel, Spain, and the United States, underscoring the event’s international dimension.
Another major highlight will be the National Hackathon Championship, which will bring together regional champions from NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Finalists will pitch their tech-driven solutions to real-world challenges before industry leaders and investors.
Winning teams will receive national recognition, mentorship opportunities, cash prizes, and possible adoption of their solutions by public and private sector partners.
Beyond technology, the 51st PBC&E will serve as a platform for policy dialogue between the private sector and government. Discussions will focus on:
- Expanding broadband access and last-mile connectivity
- Financing programs for MSMEs adopting digital tools
- AI’s impact on the labor force
- Nationwide digital literacy and upskilling initiatives
- Data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks
- Public-private collaboration in innovation hubs and incubation programs
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is expected to join the lineup of keynote speakers alongside Cabinet members, business leaders, and global experts.
For over five decades, the PBC&E has been instrumental in shaping national business policies. But this year’s edition promises something more: a seamless integration of policy forums, innovation showcases, business matching, and competitions — making it not just a conference, but a launchpad for a future-ready Philippines.
Pre-registration for the Tech Expo is now open through the official PCCI website and Facebook page. Slots are limited. (with reports from Lau Balocos)
