Businesswoman and talent manager Beverly Pumicpic Labadlabad is set to file multiple counts of Estafa through False Pretenses against her artist Elias Gabonada Lintucan Jr., better known as Elias J. TV.

According to Beverly, Elias allegedly continued to collect payments from concert producers and organizers without remitting them to her management, in violation of their management contract. She confirmed that Elias’s own personal assistant, Ryan Porras, and other band members admitted the unauthorized collections.
Her camp listed the following amounts allegedly collected by Elias from July 12 to August 7, 2025, totaling ₱2,330,000:
- ₱160,000 – July 12, Carmen
- ₱210,000 – July 14, Sagay
- ₱30,000 – July 16, GenSan
- ₱170,000 – July 18, Cabadbaran
- ₱157,500 – July 19, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte
- ₱190,000 – July 24, Santiago
- ₱157,500 – July 26, Kwiky GenSan
- ₱190,000 – July 27, Esperanza
- ₱210,000 – July 30, Kabankalan
- ₱210,000 – July 31, Aloguinsan, Cebu
- ₱210,000 – August 2, San Remegio, Cebu
- ₱15,000 – August 3, Tropicana, GenSan
- ₱210,000 – August 5, Dumarao, Capiz
- ₱210,000 – August 7, Libungan, North Cotabato
Atty. Ivan Patrick Ang, Beverly’s legal counsel, said Elias had “no authority to collect talent fees” under their signed management contract.
“There will definitely be multiple counts of estafa cases… which could carry a penalty of 20 to 40 years or reclusion perpetua if proven,” Ang said, adding that Elias would also be required to return the total amount collected.
On August 7, Elias and members of the Elias J. TV band filed petitions before the Regional Trial Court of Kidapawan City seeking to nullify their contract with Beverly.
At a press conference, Elias said he no longer wanted Beverly as his manager, claiming her alleged actions have affected both his performance and his family.
“My family is my priority,” he said, adding that the ongoing tensions have made it hard for him to perform.
His lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon—also known as the legal counsel of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy—argued that the contract signed on April 4, 2025, in Dumaguete City was “void, not just voidable,” due to lack of consideration.
“At the time of signing, Elias J. TV was already well known, not only in the country but abroad. While the manager, Beverly, had no history whatsoever of managing any talent… So, therefore, there is no claim she had any contribution to the popularity of Elias or the band,” Torreon said.

Torreon alleged that Beverly misrepresented herself as “very rich” and well-connected, with the sole intention to help Elias. He further claimed the contract was presented without explanation, that Elias was not given a copy, and that details—such as Beverly’s 30% commission—were added later.
He also questioned the contract’s notarization in Quezon City despite being signed in Dumaguete and said Elias did not know the notary public involved.
Torreon accused Beverly’s side of “monitoring” and threatening to file cyberlibel cases.
“We were hoping something would intervene, but they held a presscon with harsh words and threats,” he said, referring to Beverly’s August 6 media event with her lawyer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, where she announced her plan to file estafa and breach of contract complaints.

In that earlier press conference, Beverly denied having a romantic relationship with Elias but admitted that his live-in partner was jealous of her. She also addressed rumors about her gender.
“Dito sa Pilipinas, hindi mo talaga mabago ‘yung gender mo, so babae po si Miss Beverly,” she said. “May asawa na po ako at saka hindi po ako buntis. Pinapangarap ko pong mabuntis siyempre sa asawa ko pero hindi sa ibang tao. So siyempre, ayokong makasira ng relasyon.”
Beverly added that she chooses not to dwell on bashers’ comments.
“Nagpapasalamat na lang ako sa kanila… Hindi ko man sila sinasahuran, pinakialaman nila ‘yung buhay ko. Nag-care sila sa akin. So, maraming salamat sa inyo.”
