Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin has hit back at comedian Vice Ganda after the latter made a playful jab about her during the ‘Super Divas’ concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday, August 8.

While interacting with the audience, Vice spotted her close friends MC Muah and Lassy Marquez in the crowd.
“So you made it,” Vice told the pair before teasing, “Bakit kayo nandito? Magagalit si Cristy Fermin! Akala nila magkakaaway tayo, sisirain ninyo ‘yong narrative. Mawawalan sila ng content.”
The comment was a tongue-in-cheek reference to rumors of a falling-out between the three comedians, which began after Vice publicly called out MC in a vlog last May for allegedly not knowing how to get along during a group vacation in Palawan. Days later, Cristy reacted on her program, ‘Cristy Ferminute’, saying she was “affected” by MC’s tearful reaction in the vlog.
On the August 11 episode of ‘Cristy Ferminute’, Fermin denied Vice’s insinuation that she was fabricating stories about the trio.
“Anong content? Ano? Inimbento namin ‘yong kuwento? Hindi kami nag-iimbento ng kuwento. May binasa kami. Alam mo ‘yan, MC!” she said.
She added, “Naku, ha! ‘Wag na kayong mag-utuan. At ‘wag n’yo kaming gamitin.”
During the concert, Vice went on to joke further, saying to MC, “Kahit busing-busy ang ating pangulo sa Malacañang, nandito siya. Mahal na pangulo, bumati ka naman,” a nod to MC’s resemblance to President Bongbong Marcos.
Turning to Lassy, whom some say resembles former president Rodrigo Duterte, Vice quipped, “Because this is a time of loving, lahat tayo nagkakaisa, fresh from The Hague, bumati naman po kayo.”
The playful reunion on stage drew loud cheers and laughter from the audience, momentarily putting to rest rumors of a rift between Vice and her two friends.
