A new standard of quality has arrived at Landers Superstore as European Pork and Landers launch a month-long partnership, giving Filipino consumers access to premium-quality pork from the European Union.
From August 6 to September 7, 2025, all 15 Landers branches nationwide will feature a curated selection of pork cuts sourced from Spain and Portugal—renowned for their world-class farming practices and high standards in sustainability, food safety, and animal welfare.
The campaign officially kicked off on August 6 at Landers Superstore Arca South, Taguig, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by executives from European Pork and Landers. Celebrity chef Rob Pengson headlined the event, treating guests to a live cooking demonstration featuring European Pork Cutlets with Creamy Mushroom Sauce and European Pork Chorizo with Seafood Pasta. Guests also enjoyed premium ham at a dedicated carving station.
“European pork delivers rich flavors you can trust,” Pengson said, emphasizing that these products are “sourced with care and produced to the highest standards.”
The EU is the world’s largest exporter of pork and pork products, made possible by stringent quality control measures, humane animal-raising practices, and full traceability from birth to distribution. European pork is known for its aromatic fat, marbled lean meat, and exceptional juiciness—qualities that make it ideal for both traditional Filipino dishes like adobo and festive staples like lechon roll.

During the promotional period, Landers members can enjoy discounts of up to 30% on popular cuts such as samgyupsal, pork chops, and pork cutlets, as well as up to 50% off on select cured meats like Espuña Tapas Chorizos. All branches will also have sampling stations for shoppers to taste the difference.
Representatives from INTERPORC and FILPORC attended the launch, underscoring the value of this collaboration in strengthening EU pork’s presence in the Philippine market. With meat consumption on the rise locally, the partnership aims to connect importers, chefs, and food service providers to new premium sourcing opportunities.
