Heart Evangelista has officially joined the McDonald’s family as the newest face of My McDonald’s Rewards, the fast-food giant’s first-ever rewards program.
The campaign was launched on Wednesday, August 21, at Glorietta Mall in Makati City, where the actress and global fashion icon unveiled her latest commercial.

“It was so surreal to me to shoot,” Heart admitted after watching the ad during the launch. “In fact, hindi ako nabubulol sa mga shoots ko, pero nakailang take talaga ako sa mga eksena ko ‘cause I was so nervous. It was also nice ‘cause it’s refreshing that you’re nervous about something you love. It kind of brings back the feeling of when you first started.”
The Kapuso star revealed that McDonald’s holds a special place in her heart. “McDonald’s has been a core memory for me with my friends and my sisters because we truly grew up with the brand,” she shared.
Heart said she connects well with the brand’s rewards program because she loves tracking points when shopping and dining.
“Alam mo, kaya tayo sosyal kasi girl math, di ba? I’m very smart with my money,” she laughed. “But here kasi, it’s not just about eating a favorite meal or a hearty meal. It’s about rewarding yourself and I truly reward myself with a happy and really good meal. At the end of the day, aside from rewarding your soul, you could also be rewarding your friends and family kasi you can share [the points] with them. Nakakatuwa. I’m so happy na nakuha ko itong campaign na ito.”
McDonald’s Corporate Communications executive Adi Hernandez welcomed Evangelista warmly: “We’re very happy to welcome Ms. Heart Evangelista into the growing McDonald’s family. She has been really a super fan. Since she was young, growing up, she has a lot of memories and feel-good moments with the brand. It’s been a long time coming at McDonald’s to have Heart with us.”

When asked about rumors of Heart replacing Vice Ganda as an endorser, Hernandez clarified: “Just because someone new comes in like David, Barbie, and Heart, doesn’t mean we’re not working with other endorsers. Heart is part of our growing pool of endorsers.”
The event was also graced by the popular Kapuso love team, Barbie Forteza and David Licauco.

In the same event, Heart reflected on one of the biggest risks of her career: taking part in international Fashion Week long before it was popular locally.
“Maybe when I took a risk, that was when I went down the least traveled road, and that would be Fashion Week, before people could understand it,” she said. “But then, aside from fashion, there was a bigger purpose, which was to really express yourself in a world where everybody seems to be perfect.”
The actress recalled how liberating it felt to embrace her own style: “Like, who is this little girl who’s walking down the street and wearing all of her fashionable clothes and just being happy? And because I was able to do that and liberate myself, I feel like that’s when the blessings started to pour in.”
For Heart, blessings come with responsibility: “You are blessed to be a blessing. Not just financially, but by being kind, nice, paying everything forward, and looking at everybody when you say thank you straight in the eye. That’s very important to make a connection that will last forever.”
Evangelista continues to shine on the global stage. She was recently named one of the top performers at Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks this year. Based on Launchmetrics data released in March, she ranked No. 1 in the overall celebrity landscape of Milan Fashion Week 2025 in terms of Media Impact Value (MIV).
