Regal Entertainment, Inc.’s official entry ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins’ has made it to the lineup of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), and all eyes are on the film’s “The Intruder” episode starring Ivana Alawi — with reports claiming her leading man is none other than former ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemate Dustin Yu.

Interestingly, it’s Ivana — and not Dustin’s ‘PBB’ final duo partner Bianca de Vera — who is being paired with the Kapamilya actor in this project. During her stint inside the ‘PBB’ house, Ivana was known to be close to Dustin, which has fueled fan excitement over their on-screen chemistry.
‘Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins’ serves as Regal Entertainment’s 63rd anniversary presentation, with Joey de Guzman, Shugo Praico, and Ian Loreños directing the trilogy’s episodes.
For Ivana, this will be her third MMFF appearance following ‘3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon!’ (2019) and ‘Partners in Crime’ (2022). Her role in Evil Origins comes alongside co-stars Richard Gutierrez and Manilyn Reynes, with Ian Loreños reportedly directing their episode.

While Regal has yet to officially confirm Dustin Yu as Ivana’s leading man, speculation continues to grow — especially with their friendly dynamic from their ‘PBB’ days.
Production is set to begin this month, signaling a busy schedule ahead for Ivana, who is also rumored to be making her teleserye comeback soon.
