Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo is officially making her highly anticipated television comeback.
ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment announced on Friday, August 22, that the multi-awarded actress is set to headline a new series under the Kapamilya network’s premier production unit.
The big reveal came through a 30-second teaser video released on social media, showing Bernardo in full glam mode as she posed for a photoshoot. The clip carried the caption: “The wait is over. SHE IS BACK AND READY.”
This marks Bernardo’s reunion with Dreamscape Entertainment, 15 years after her breakthrough portrayal in the 2010 hit remake ‘Mara Clara’. Her last primetime series was the romantic-comedy ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ opposite Daniel Padilla, which aired in 2022.
Dreamscape heightened the excitement with another statement: “The Asia’s Superstar, Kathryn Bernardo is now ready for her grandest comeback with Dreamscape Entertainment.” While the production company has yet to share plot details or the rest of the cast, it teased that the project is “coming soon.”
Bernardo has remained active on the big screen. In 2023, she starred in ‘A Very Good Girl’, and in 2024, she led ‘Hello, Love, Again’, which went on to become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time. She also showcased her versatility on television this year as a judge for ‘Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7’.
Beyond this new series, Kathryn is also set to headline another much-talked-about “queenly” project alongside fellow actress Nadine Lustre, further cementing her reign as one of the country’s most bankable and versatile stars.
