Actor Piolo Pascual opened up about a disturbing encounter with a fan that left him shaken during a mall show in Cebu.
In an interview on Matteo G. Primetime hosted by Matteo Guidicelli, Pascual recalled the incident, which happened as he was entering a mall from the parking area.
“There was this gay dude that just came straight at me, grabbed my crotch. Dude, I was so stunned, hindi ako nakakilos. And then of course the security, the bouncers just grabbed him and then pushed him away. I was traumatized,” he shared.
The actor admitted that the experience had a lasting effect on him.
“Talagang after that nagkaroon na ‘ko ng trauma ‘pag may gumaganon,” he added.
Since then, Pascual said he has become more alert and cautious when interacting with fans in public settings.
Despite the challenges that come with public attention, Pascual continues to maintain professionalism and composure in his career.
During the same interview, he also shared insights into his disciplined lifestyle, which helps him sustain his well-known physique. According to the actor, he prioritizes proper nutrition, regular exercise, and adequate rest.
He clarified, however, that he does not aim to bulk up excessively, preferring a physique that suits him naturally.
Pascual’s experience highlights the importance of respecting personal boundaries, even in environments where fan interactions are expected and encouraged.
