The premiere of ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ wasted no time in serving drama, fashion, and fierce performances, cementing why the Philippines continues to be a drag powerhouse.

Twelve queens from across Asia and the diaspora entered the werkroom, but it was Khianna with a K of the Philippines who stole the spotlight. She swept both the hair-flip dance-off mini challenge and the main ‘Miss Shutacca’ pageant, which tested the queens in national costumes, evening gowns, and a Q&A showdown.
By the end of the night, Khianna and Thailand’s Siam PhuSri rose as the top queens, sealing the episode with a fiery Philippines-versus-Thailand lip sync to ‘Debut’ by Katseye. In the end, Khianna snatched the first RuBadge of the season, while Belgium’s Madame Yoko became the first queen to sashay away.
Also competing this season are Arizona Brandy, Bernie, Brigiding, Ivory Glaze, Kitty Space, Suki Doll, Sum Ting Wong, Viñas Deluxe, and Yuhua.

Hosted by Filipino actor-comedian Paolo Ballesteros, also known as ‘Mama Pao’, his groundbreaking edition brings together an all-Asian cast of queens from different ‘Drag Race’ franchises worldwide — the first in the franchise’s history. The show adopts an All Stars-style format where eliminated queens get another shot at redemption, with one ultimately crowned champion.
Since its debut in 2022, ‘Drag Race Philippines’ has quickly become one of the most celebrated franchises alongside the U.S. and Spain. With ‘Slaysian Royale’, the series shines a global spotlight on Asian drag excellence like never before.
‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ streams every Wednesday exclusively on WOW Presents Plus. And as Mama Ru would say, may the fiercest queen win.
