The latest episode of Drag Race Philippines Slaysian Royale marked a major milestone for Brigiding, who earned her first RuBadge—the very same episode in which she was eliminated during Season 1, making it a striking full-circle moment in her journey. This also underscored her growth and renewed confidence this season.

In this week’s episode, the queens took on the Family Rusemblance Maxi Challenge where they transformed OFW moms into members of their drag families. Working in pairs, the challenge tested their creativity, collaboration, and ability to create cohesive family looks.
Brigiding’s path back to this point has combined personal reflection and standout artistry. In Episode 4, Brigiding revisited the struggles she faced during her first season and spoke candidly about her journey, adding emotional depth to her return. That same episode also featured her “Facetival” runway, inspired by religious iconography, which went viral on Twitter and became one of the most talked-about looks of the season.
“This journey means more to me than just competition. It’s about resilience, reinvention, and staying true to who I am. I’ve always believed that learning is the new winning, and I carry that with me every step of the way,” Brigiding shared. “As Mother of the House of Ding, I embrace the many forms of love in my life, including chosen family. I hope my story shows that strength can be found in vulnerability, and that drag has the power to heal and inspire.”
With her first RuBadge, viral runway moments, and openness about her personal story, Brigiding is entering a new chapter in her artistry—one marked by authenticity and growth. Her win reflects the resilience and creativity present in the Filipino drag scene and underscores the impact of these stories within the community.
