GMA Public Affairs is opening its doors to a new generation of storytellers through the launch of the GMA Public Affairs Storytellers’ Academy.

In a teaser released on the official GMA Public Affairs Facebook page on Thursday (September 4), the network invited students and professionals alike to take part in the program designed to hone skills in impactful storytelling.
The teaser carried the line: “Learn to tell stories that matter from the Philippines’ most trusted storytellers” alongside flashes of the numerous awards won by GMA’s flagship public affairs programs.
Heading the academy’s debut lineup is none other than multi-awarded broadcast journalist Jessica Soho, who will serve as the first teacher. Further details, including schedules, modules, and other mentors, will be revealed soon on GMA Public Affairs’ official social media accounts.
With the Storytellers’ Academy, GMA aims to inspire and train aspiring communicators to create stories that inform, move, and matter to Filipinos.
