Kitty Duterte, the youngest daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte and Honeylet Avanceña, opened up about her father’s reaction to her cosmetic procedures.
In a recent interview, the 19-year-old admitted that she initially planned to undergo more enhancements, including lip fillers, but was dissuaded by her father.
“They had it undone ‘yong lips kasi sabi niya, ‘Magtira ka naman ng sa akin.’ Para lang masaya siya, gano’n,” Kitty shared. She added that she decided not to push through with further procedures because her father felt sad that they were starting to lose their resemblance.
“‘Di ko na tinuloy ‘yong lips-lips kasi nalulungkot siya ‘pag hindi na kami magkamukha,” she explained.
Kitty has previously been candid about her cosmetic enhancements. In a video she released in 2024, she admitted to having rhinoplasty, jaw botox, and lip fillers. “I’m 19 and I’m a college student. I had a consultation with Kuya Migs and Ate Dani. We talked about what I wanted to do with my lips, ’cause I really wanted lip fillers,” she said at the time.
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose, while jaw botox involves injecting botulinum toxin into the jaw muscles to slim down the face. Lip fillers, on the other hand, are injectable treatments that add volume and shape to the lips.
Despite criticisms online, Kitty has maintained confidence in her choices, saying her enhancements made her feel happier about her appearance.
