A new boy’s love tandem is taking over social media: Mikoy Morales and Esteban Mara, the fresh on-screen pairing in Puregold’s latest vertical BL series ‘Got My Eyes on You’.
The series, directed by Dizelle Masilungan, follows the fiery dynamic between Drew (Mikoy), an ambitious resort operations manager, and Shawn (Esteban), an enigmatic guest relations officer. Their playful banter and undeniable tension have quickly made them the newest BL love team to watch.
But fans aren’t just shipping them on-screen—many are picking up on their landian and harutan off-camera too.
During the show’s launch, Mikoy openly admitted that he and Esteban felt instant chemistry despite only meeting on set.
“I admit the first time na nag-look test kami, doon pa lang, wala nang kaartehan. We got to it na agad, na naramdaman ko agad ang moment,” Mikoy recalled.
Esteban agreed, saying their shared goals as actors helped their bond click naturally: “Siguro, in some ways baka pareho rin kami ng gusto, kaya naging suwabe ang chemistry.”
When asked if he felt kilig with his co-star, Mikoy laughed before admitting: “Oo naman! Siyempre kapag kinilig ka, tapos hinarangan mo, lalabas ‘yon sa mga mata mo.”
He added that while the kilig was part of the acting, there were moments that blurred the line: “Kung kinilig kami sa scene na ‘uy may naramdaman ako doon,’ pero after the scene, ‘bro, ang galing mo.’”
Their candid responses only fueled speculation among fans about whether the sparks extend beyond the cameras.
The BL series doesn’t just showcase the lead pair, but also features a colorful supporting cast including Toniyuh, Victor Sy, Hannah Lee, Ady Cotoco, and Darwin Yu, adding depth and fun to the story.
