From once being a contestant to now sitting in the coveted red chair, singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo comes full circle as he joins the newest season of ‘The Voice Kids Philippines’, premiering this Sunday on GMA Network.

Tabudlo, who competed in the show back in 2014 but did not make it to the finals, said his earlier struggles became the foundation of his journey as an artist.
“There’s so much things that I went through as a musician, as an artist, and as a person also. But I always pray for it and God always has a reason talaga for everything. It comes in time where you realize things na kaya pala ginawa ni God ‘to, kaya pala ganito ‘yung nangyari. It all makes sense po in the end,” Zack shared in an interview after the mediacon.
The young hitmaker also opened up about his early years, recalling how he often felt like an outsider in school.
“During that high school life or during those elementary days, I wasn’t super in with groups of friends. So I was usually alone. And I was always in this dream every day. I get to imagine different things when I listen to music. … I’m pretty sure my friends and classmates found me as this weird kid in school. Because I wasn’t too much out there. I was always alone,” he said.
Now one of the most-streamed OPM artists of his generation, Zack draws inspiration for his songs from deeply personal experiences—most especially love and heartbreak.
“Right now po I’m in a very healthy relationship with my girlfriend. We’re almost running two years. But yeah, the reason, actually po honestly, the reason why I’ve written all these songs is because of the heartbreaks and a lot of the failure of love that I went through for the past years,” he revealed.
Tabudlo joins fellow new mentors Paolo and Miguel Guico of Ben&Ben, alongside mainstays Billy Crawford and Julie Anne San Jose. Together, they will guide young hopefuls as they battle it out with powerhouse performances.
The last season of ‘The Voice Kids’ crowned Nevin Adam Garceniego of Tropa ni Pablo as the grand champion in December 2024, under the mentorship of SB19’s Stell and Pablo.
