It’s an exciting new chapter for Alex Gonzaga, who is now officially a co-owner—not just the face—of the wellness brand Chef Ayb’s Paragis, alongside her beloved parents Mommy Pinty and Daddy Bonoy Gonzaga.

The Gonzaga family, together with brand founder Chef Ayb, recently hosted a grand and star-studded event at White Space Makati City to celebrate this milestone. The gathering drew a mix of celebrities, influencers, and wellness advocates, including Mariel Rodriguez, Rufa Mae Quinto, Jannica Garcia, Alexa Miro, Zara Lopez, and veteran actress Gina Pareño (with her daughter Janica). Popular vloggers and online personalities also joined the celebration, showing their full support for Alex and the brand.
Of course, Alex’s sister Toni Gonzaga of ‘Toni Talks’ was present to support her family, joining close friend Mariel Rodriguez as they stayed until the event’s conclusion. Both Toni and Mariel are frequently seen promoting Chef Ayb’s Paragis products on TikTok, where their live selling sessions continue to generate strong sales and engagement.

The lively event also introduced the new brand ambassador, Lipa City Vice Mayor Mikee Morada, Alex’s husband, whose popularity and approachable image make him an ideal fit for the brand. Alex even revealed that Mikee keeps boxes of Paragis Tea in his office to offer guests visiting the Lipa City Capitol.

During the program, the Gonzaga family took the stage to share their personal experiences with the brand’s herbal products. Mommy Pinty and Daddy Bonoy proudly shared that their blood sugar and blood pressure levels have normalized since regularly drinking Chef Ayb’s Paragis Tea and taking its herbal capsules.

“For us, it’s an everyday health essential,” Alex shared. “Mikee and I both feel detoxified after meals—especially when we eat heavy or cholesterol-rich food. What’s great is that it’s budget-friendly too—one tea bag can be used up to five times!”
The event also highlighted testimonials from loyal customers, including Rachelle Ann Rubio and her mother Rosmarie, who credited Chef Ayb’s Paragis for helping in her recovery from 20 years of depression.
A special guest doctor was also invited to discuss the many health benefits of the Paragis-based products, which may help alleviate conditions such as insomnia, kidney disease, diabetes, inflammation, psoriasis, endometriosis, heartburn, tumors, cancer, and more. The products are also known to boost the immune system.
All Chef Ayb’s products are FDA and HALAL certified, including Chef Ayb’s Paragis Tea (Goose Grass) with Moringa and Guyabano, Chef Ayb’s Paragis Capsule Gold, and Chef Ayb’s Paragis (Eleusine Indica) in capsule form.
As Alex passionately declared during the event: “Para sa health na walang kaparis — mag-Paragis na!”
What sets Chef Ayb’s Paragis Tea apart is its unique processing method — an old-fashioned, carefully guarded technique for drying and preparing Paragis grass. This artisanal process ensures that the tea retains its full nutritional and healing properties, offering detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and immune-boosting benefits in every cup.
The brand’s origins trace back to 2017, when Chef Ayb witnessed her grandmother using boiled Paragis grass (Eleusine Indica) to ease arthritis pain. Inspired by its potential, she developed Paragis Tea in convenient tea bag and capsule formats, allowing anyone to enjoy its health benefits as part of their daily wellness routine.
Today, Chef Ayb’s Herbal Tea offers a growing range of locally made natural products that support both wellness and Filipino farming communities in Zambales and Nueva Ecija.
