Globe took center stage at the International Design Conference (IDC) 2025, co-presenting a landmark initiative aimed at narrowing the gap between academic learning and industry demands. As part of its commitment to youth empowerment and digital transformation through education, Globe highlighted both students and educators in a powerful celebration of creativity and mentorship.

Held in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Design Center, the IDC 2025 served as a major platform for showcasing Filipino creative talent. Globe hosted an exclusive session featuring world-renowned author and speaker Joe Pine, attended by 76 of the country’s top students from notable design schools in the country.

In honor of Teachers’ Month, Globe also invited the educators who mentored these students, recognizing their foundational role in shaping the future of the Philippines’ creative economy.

“This partnership reflects our belief that creativity thrives when students and educators are equally empowered,” said Jonathan Cristobal, Director of B2B Marketing at Globe. “Through Globe and DTI’s Design Center, this milestone event aims to build a future-ready education ecosystem, where innovation, mentorship, and opportunity are accessible.”

Globe’s participation at IDC 2025 underscored its strategic role in shaping the Philippines’ creative economy, connecting top design students with global thought leaders, championing educators as catalysts for innovation, and reinforcing Globe Business as the trusted partner in future-proofing education for both teachers and students.

Looking ahead, Globe plans to deepen its collaboration with the design community through innovation workshops, mentorship programs, and expanded access to global creative networks. These efforts aim to build a fully connected education ecosystem, where every student has access to world-class learning tools, every educator is supported by intelligent technology, and every institution is future-proofed for the digital age.

Powered by Globe Business, the experience at IDC 2025 demonstrated how technology can support the evolving needs of creative professionals and students alike, helping Filipinos to #GoForIt. To learn more about Globe, visit https://www.globe.com.ph/.
