After years away from the spotlight, Angel Locsin continues to live a quiet, private life — this time finding joy in simple routines at home. Her husband, Neil Arce, recently gave fans another glimpse into the actress’s life, confirming that she’s doing well and enjoying her downtime.

In an interview with MJ Marfori, Neil shared that Angel remains intentionally low-profile.
“She’s really private now,” he said. “She still goes out sometimes, but she’s very careful not to be seen.”
The film producer revealed that one of Angel’s current habits is watching ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0’, where Neil’s son, Joaquin Arce, is among the new teen housemates.
“Nanonood ng PBB sa bahay,” Neil said with a smile, adding that Angel has been very supportive of Joaquin’s showbiz journey.
When asked if Angel has traveled abroad recently, Neil replied, “Not recently. It was her brother’s wedding yesterday so we were there.”
He also shared that when he returns home from work, Angel is often there, enjoying her peaceful routine.
“Syempre, pag-uwi ko, andun naman siya,” Neil said.
Angel Locsin’s last TV project was ‘The General’s Daughter’ (2019), followed by hosting the 2020 docu-series ‘Iba Yan!’ and a cameo in ‘Four Sisters Before the Wedding.’ Since 2022, she has taken a hiatus from showbiz and social media, making brief appearances online — including a short comeback last January after her X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked.
A few months ago, in a TV Patrol interview, Neil also shared that Angel has been keeping herself busy with gaming and online classes.
“She’s into gaming and she’s taking online classes. She’s enjoying herself,” he said, adding that some of the classes are related to gaming as well.
Neil noted that Angel has been taking her time to adjust and heal following the passing of her father.

“I think we all know that her dad just passed away, so she’s taking her time. I’m giving her her own space to adjust.”
Despite fan speculation about her possible comeback, Neil said he never pressures his wife to return to show business.
“I know she’s a very strong and independent woman. I married an alpha queen, and I respect that. Whatever she wants to do, as long as it’s right, she has my 100% support.”
He admitted that, like many of her fans, he also misses seeing Angel on screen — but being her husband means prioritizing her happiness.
“Of course, I’m also a fan who misses her. But my role as her husband comes first — to support whatever makes her happy.”
