Primetime King Coco Martin brought excitement to Malabon City on Thursday morning as he met residents during his official appearance as the new brand ambassador of Jimm’s Coffee Mix with Korean Ginseng.
The visit drew large crowds eager to see the popular actor, with fans filling the Malabon Sports Center to welcome him.
During the event, Martin expressed his fondness for Malabon, sharing how the city has become meaningful to him over the years. He revealed that several scenes from ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ are regularly filmed in the area, making the community a familiar and special place for him as an actor.
Residents enthusiastically cheered as Martin took time to greet supporters, pose for photos, and thank them for their unwavering support. Longtime fans of his television and film projects were visibly thrilled to see him in person.
The event also highlighted the continued expansion of Jimm’s Coffee Kapehan Plus, now under Mega Prime Foods Inc. (MPFI), which acquired the brand in May 2024 from Goldshine Pharmaceuticals Inc. Jimm’s Coffee has been a well-loved Filipino brand since 1995, and MPFI aims to strengthen its nationwide presence with the help of Coco Martin.
Martin, now the face of Jimm’s Coffee Mix 3-in-1, spoke about his genuine trust in the product, noting that he drinks Jimm’s Coffee every day. He praised the blend, which includes Korean ginseng and other ingredients known to support energy and focus.
MPFI CEO Michelle Tiu Lim-Chan and Chairman William Tiu Lim also addressed attendees, emphasizing the coffee mix’s unique formulation and the company’s commitment to offering high-quality, dependable beverages to Filipino consumers.
Malabon Mayor Jeannie Sandoval delivered a message recognizing Jimm’s Coffee and thanking MPFI for choosing Malabon as the host city for the event. She also expressed appreciation for Coco Martin’s presence, noting how the visit uplifted residents and fostered community spirit.
The gathering featured an exclusive meet-and-greet with Martin and a special program for media, influencers, affiliates, and fans. Local officials commended the actor’s engagement with the community, praising his warmth, humility, and the joy he brought to families who attended.
