Actress Kaye Abad drew laughs online after a video of her excitedly testing the built-in umbrella feature of a Rolls-Royce went viral, prompting netizens to connect the moment to contractor Sarah Discaya, who previously made headlines for highlighting the same feature of her luxury vehicle.

In the clip shared on Facebook, Abad is seen smiling and laughing as she pulls out the umbrella from the car’s door panel.
“Tinuod diay ang payong. Nakahikap ko sa payong sa Rolls Royce (Totoo pala ang payong. Nahawakan ko ang payong ng Rolls-Royce),” she said in Cebuano while laughing.

The Rolls-Royce umbrella feature recently became a trending topic after Discaya went viral for saying she bought the luxury car because she liked its umbrella.
Aside from the viral video, Abad also revealed that her family fell victim to a car break-in while vacationing in Las Vegas, USA.
According to her Facebook post, the theft occurred while they were having lunch. When they returned to their vehicle, she discovered that her bag—containing valuable items including IDs and two passports—had been stolen.
“We went to Vegas para magbakasyon and isuroy ang kids. Never did I think that one of the places I’d end up visiting was the police station,” she wrote, sharing a photo taken inside the precinct.
She added: “My bag was stolen inside the car with all my IDs and 2 passports. (Never leave your bags inside the car.) We just had lunch for 1 hr and this happened.”
Despite the ordeal, Abad expressed gratitude that she, husband Paul Jake Castillo, and their children Pio Joaquin and Iñigo Leon were unharmed.
“Everything can be replaced. Importante, my family is safe. God is good,” she said.
Abad did not mention whether authorities have identified or apprehended the suspects.
