Horror fans are in for a terrifying treat as GMA Network’s award-winning public affairs show ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ (KMJS) brings its hit Halloween special to cinemas for the first time through ‘KMJS’ Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie’ — opening in theaters nationwide on November 26, 2025.
Filipinos have long been fans of horror stories, and the annual ‘Gabi ng Lagim’ TV special has become a Halloween staple. This time, ‘KMJS’ takes the fear to another level, presenting three chilling stories inspired by true events, each brought to life by top Kapuso stars and acclaimed filmmakers.
The film anthology features: Jillian Ward in “Sanib”, directed by King Mark Baco; Miguel Tanfelix in “Pocong”, directed by Yam Laranas; Sanya Lopez in “Berbalang”, directed by Dodo Dayao, DGPI.
These spine-tingling tales are tied together through the narration of multi-awarded journalist Jessica Soho, whose signature storytelling has made ‘KMJS’ one of the country’s most trusted and watched TV programs.
Joining them is Elijah Canlas, who also stars in one of the film’s gripping segments.
From the moment the poster and trailer dropped, audiences have been buzzing with excitement — with many fans praising its eerie visuals and high production quality. Social media users have already been clamoring for advance ticket booking, saying they can’t wait to experience KMJS’ brand of horror on the big screen.
