The Philippines has officially joined the world’s fine dining elite as nine local restaurants earned coveted Michelin stars in the country’s first-ever Michelin Guide selection, unveiled during a grand ceremony at the Marriott Manila Hotel on October 30, 2025.

A total of 108 restaurants made it to the inaugural Michelin Guide Philippines 2026, including Bib Gourmand and Michelin Selected entries — but the biggest honors went to Helm and eight other standout dining destinations that placed the country firmly on the global culinary map.
Two Michelin Stars – Helm (Ayala Triangle, Makati) — led by Filipino-British chef Josh Boutwood, Helm achieved the highest recognition of the night for its innovative fine dining experience and precise artistry.
One Michelin Star – Asador Alfonso (Cavite), Celera (Makati), Gallery by Chele (Taguig), Hapag (Makati), Inatô (Makati), Kasa Palma (Makati), Linamnam (Parañaque) and Toyo Eatery (Makati).
Gallery by Chele also received a Green Star for its commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious practices.
Bib Gourmand Winners – The Bib Gourmand award, given to eateries offering “good food at good value,” went to 25 restaurants across the country, including: Palm Grill (Diliman), Lampara, Manam at the Triangle, Bolero, Taqueria Franco, The Pig & Palm (Cebu), Abaseria Deli & Cafe (Cebu), Sarsa, CUR8, and Pilya’s Kitchen, among others.

An additional 74 restaurants were listed under the Michelin Selected category — featuring notable names such as Antonio’s (Tagaytay), Old Manila, Locavore (Taguig), Metiz, Uma Nota, Mireio, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, and House of Lechon (Cebu) — all recognized for their quality cooking and unique culinary identity.

Michelin Exceptional Cocktails Award: Benjamin Leal of Uma Nota
Speaking at the event, Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide, praised the Philippines’ vibrant and evolving food culture: “This selection pays tribute to a new generation of Filipino chefs and international chefs who have embraced the Philippines, drawing inspiration from local heritage, bold flavors, and heartfelt hospitality.
