The Ultimate Foodie Card Is Here! EastWest, foodpanda, and Visa Launch Credit Card for the Digital Generation

“If every milk tea I ordered earned cashback, I’d probably have paid for my next one by now.” Now that thought isn’t just wishful thinking. The EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card, launched last November 24, turns that idea into reality.

It rewards every craving, coffee run, and little indulgence with instant cashback and lifestyle perks built for those who live and spend deliciously.

Built for foodies, powered by innovation

The EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card rewards cardholders with cashback on every purchase—not just within foodpanda, but anywhere Visa is accepted. Cardholders can enjoy 10% cashback on all foodpanda orders, earning up to Php 400 in cashback each month. They will continue to receive 3% cashback even after reaching the cap, ensuring ongoing rewards for repeat orders. They also earn 1% cashback on overseas purchases and 0.3% on other local transactions, with a Php 1,000 monthly cap on total cashback earned across all spending categories. On top of these perks, cardholders enjoy no annual fee for the first year and a free six-month pandapro subscription for early cardholders.

“This partnership brings together three brands that believe in convenience, value, and digital innovation. Together, we’re making rewards simpler, faster, and built around the way people live today,” said Jerry Ngo, Chief Executive Officer of EastWest. “The Bank continues to build financial solutions around real daily habits. The EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card is another way we make banking easier, turning every meal into a moment of value.”

In a first-of-its-kind feature in the local market, cashback is automatically credited weekly to a user’s pandapay wallet, giving cardholders immediate access to their rewards—a direct reflection to foodpanda’s signature focus on “instant gratification” experience.

“Visa is proud to power this partnership, expanding secure, contactless, and rewarding payment options for Filipino consumers,” added Jeffrey Navarro, Visa Philippines Country Head. “Together with EastWest and foodpanda, we’re enabling the next wave of digital payments in the Philippines.”

A lifestyle card made for this generation
While credit cards traditionally focus on big-ticket purchases, this ultimate foodie card takes a lifestyle-first approach by rewarding users for their daily essentials, small indulgences, and spontaneous cravings.

“The Filipino lifestyle has evolved,” said Daniel Jaramillo, Managing Director of foodpanda Philippines. “You don’t have to wait for special moments; you can enjoy the benefits every day. This card lets people celebrate the little moments that make life enjoyable and turns each one into something rewarding.”

The partnership also further strengthens foodpanda’s presence in the financial space, bridging food delivery and fintech to create a more seamless and rewarding ecosystem for its users. By linking cashback directly to pandapay, the card encourages repeat orders and engagement, fostering both loyalty and smarter spending habits.

“The EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card expands our digital ecosystem, giving users even more ways to experience value and convenience with foodpanda,” said Lhecks De Castro, Director of Finance of foodpanda Philippines. “This partnership allows us to turn everyday spending into opportunities to earn, save, and stay engaged within the platform—strengthening both loyalty and the overall customer experience.”

It’s a companion that fits the way you live

As digital payments continue to grow among younger consumers, cobranded products like this one are reshaping what “rewards” truly mean—turning something as ordinary as paying for your favorite meal into a lifestyle experience.

“We built this card around what our customers love most: food, convenience, and crave-on-demand,” said Jaramillo. ““It goes beyond a simple payment; it’s a way to celebrate your lifestyle. Every order, every craving, every treat becomes more rewarding because that’s what foodpanda is all about.”

With tap-to-pay convenience, global Visa acceptance, and cashback that never sleeps, the card effortlessly blends practicality with pleasure, proving that every craving can truly be a rewarding experience.
