ABS-CBN nabbed 21 honors for its outstanding programs and personalities, including special awards for former president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, Karen Davila, Karmina Constantino, and Donny Pangilinan, at the 21st Gawad Tanglaw Awards.
Veteran host, actress, and executive Charo Santos-Concio was honored with the Gawad Debbie Francisco Dianco, PhD para sa Pangmadlang Komunikasyon award for her invaluable contribution to the industry.
Broadcast journalists Karen Davila and Karmina Constantino received the Gawad Natatanging Brodkaster sa Sining at Kultura ng Midya at Komunikasyon award for their dedication and integrity in reporting.

Donny Pangilinan, meanwhile, is the recipient of the Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw para sa Kabataang Pilipino na Nagsilbing Huwaran ng Kabutihan, Kamalayan at Kahusayan sa Larangan ng Medya at Komunikasyon honor for being a positive influence to the youth.
“It’s Showtime” received the Best Noontime Show award, while “ASAP” was named Best Noontime Variety Show.
The family drama thriller “Pamilya Sagrado” emerged as the big winner, taking home the Best Teleserye and Best Story honors, as well as the Best Actor award for Kyle Echarri and Best Director for Andoy Ranay, Lawrence Fajardo, and Rico Navarro.
Janine Gutierrez and Janice de Belen also scored top accolades, winning Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, for the revenge drama “Dirty Linen.”

Kaila Estrada also received the Best Supporting Actress award for the hit mystery series “Linlang,” while McCoy de Leon was named Best Supporting actor for his compelling performance in the action series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
Meanwhile, Joross Gamboa took home the Best Supporting Actor recognition for “Hello, Love, Again.”

In news and current affairs, “TV Patrol” was named Best News Program, while “TV Patrol Express” received the Best Innovative News Program honor. Alvin Elchico was also hailed as Best TV News Anchor.
Metro Channel also received multiple accolades—“Metro Home” bagged the Best TV Lifestyle Program award, while “It’s a Small World” won Best TV Vlog Series. Marc Nelson was also named Best TV Lifestyle Program Host for “Beached.”
