Actor and former politician Anjo Yllana has called out business tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP), owner of MediaQuest Ventures and TV5, after claiming he was repeatedly barred from guesting on Cristy Fermin’s radio program ‘Cristy Ferminute’ (CFM).

In a heated TikTok video, Yllana said he wanted to appear on Fermin’s show to defend himself from what he described as the host’s ongoing “attacks” against him.
According to Yllana, the denial of his request made TV5 appear “unfair,” especially since the criticisms against him were being aired on a program under its umbrella through Radyo Singko.
“MVP, nananawagan ako sa inyo… panay paninira sa akin ng mga tauhan n’yo diyan tulad ni Cristy Fermin. Paano ko ipaliliwanag ang side ko kung ayaw niya akong i-guest?” he said in frustration during his livestream.
Yllana, who has been publicly exchanging statements with Senator Tito Sotto, suggested that the refusal to accommodate him on the show prevented him from responding to allegations raised by the veteran columnist.
In the same video, Yllana highlighted the size of his social media following—claiming he had reached six million—and issued a warning to MVP and the network. He said he was prepared to urge his followers to stop supporting TV5 if he continued to be denied airtime.
“Pag ganyan din lang ang istasyon n’yo, sasabihin ko sa lahat ng mga followers ko na huwag nang manood sa TV5 dahil one-sided kayo!” he declared.
As of this writing, TV5 and MediaQuest have not released a statement regarding Yllana’s accusations or his request for a guest appearance.
Whether the ultimatum will draw any response from Pangilinan remains to be seen.
