Kapuso actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista candidly admitted that despite her success, she is still driven by work and financial goals as she prepares to launch her own jewelry business.

During a recent Instagram Live, Evangelista gave fans a glimpse of several jewelry pieces she personally designed while doing her own hair and makeup. She shared that the livestream was done on a Sunday because she preferred not to bother her team, as she was heading to a meeting related to her upcoming venture.
Although she is widely regarded as accomplished in her career, Heart revealed that she still feels compelled to keep working hard, describing herself as “alipin ng salapi” at this stage of her life.
“I think I’m out of my 40s before I completely—well, not completely—but really live for myself. Right now, I’m still alipin sa salapi kasi marami pa akong gustong gawin at marami pa akong mga pinapangarap,” she said.
Evangelista shared that she hopes to slow down in her 50s and eventually live without the pressure of deadlines, which she admitted takes a toll on her.
“I’ve been working for 28 years, so you could imagine. I’ve never really had a day-off-day-off. I’m not the type to travel as in vacation. I think I should learn to do that,” she added.
Fans who tuned in noticed that while Heart remained articulate and engaged, there was a subtle difference in her demeanor compared to previous years. Still, she emphasized that her drive comes from having many goals she wants to pursue.
As 2026 approaches, Evangelista made it clear that she has no plans of slowing down just yet, choosing instead to push forward with her creative ambitions—starting with a jewelry line that reflects her personal taste, artistry, and evolving vision for her future.
