After completing the 40-show global run of the ‘Sarili Nating Mundo’ (SNM40) world tour, OPM singer-songwriters and real-life couple TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan surprised their production team by giving ₱100,000 each as a token of gratitude for their hard work and sacrifices throughout the tour.
The surprise took place during a team gathering, moments of which TJ later shared on TikTok. In the videos, members of the SNM40 team were seen cheering, laughing, and crying as the couple revealed their gift. Concert director John Prats was also present during the celebration.
TJ initially set the mood by assuring the team, “Again, walang uuwing luhaan sa trip na ‘to,” before explaining what everyone believed would be a raffle-style giveaway.
“Ito yung mga premyo natin: meron tayong pitong winners ng ₱5,000, meron tayong limang winners ng ₱10,000, merong tatlong winners ng ₱20,000, merong dalawang winners ng ₱50,000, at merong isang may ₱100,000,” he said.
The announcement prompted loud reactions from the team, with some clasping their hands in prayer in hopes of getting the highest prize. KZ then clarified the mechanics as she showed the identical scratch cards.
“Hindi po namin alam kung nasaan dito [yung highest prize], magkamukha po lahat [ng packaging],” she explained.
As the team scratched their cards, they soon realized—almost simultaneously—that everyone had received ₱100,000.
“Happy SNM40!” TJ said, as the magnitude of the surprise sank in.

One by one, the team members screamed, teared up, and embraced each other as they processed the unexpected generosity from the couple.
In the comments section of the video, TJ reiterated their appreciation for the team, writing, “DESERVE NYONG LAHAT! Ramdam namin ang puso nyo every single show, thank you guys ❤”
He added, “TAYO AY LILIPAD .”
Another follow-up video showed even more raw reactions, with some team members jumping from their seats, others standing on tables, and many overwhelmed by emotion.

The Sarili Nating Mundo world tour opened with a three-night sold-out run at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last February and continued across the Philippines, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The final leg concluded in Abu Dhabi, UAE on December 2, with KZ joining TJ as a special guest throughout the tour.
Beyond the tour, the couple also took part in charitable efforts. During their Auckland stop, a lighthearted budots dance challenge turned into a fundraising drive that raised over ₱100,000 for earthquake victims in the Philippines.
Reflecting on their journey, TJ previously shared in a press conference, “Every week kasi kami magkasama so hinahanap-hanap na namin ang isa’t isa… Sobrang naging close na din kami talaga.”
Following the success of SNM40, TJ and KZ are set to return to the Smart Araneta Coliseum for their In Between four-night concert from February 6 to 9, 2026, with the first three nights already sold out. Tickets for Day 4 go on sale starting December 15 via TicketNet.
