Bela Padilla is officially making her return to television as part of one of ABS-CBN Studios’ most anticipated action-drama series, where she will star alongside Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson.

In a recent interview, Padilla described her role as a major departure from the characters she has portrayed in the past, marking her first time to take on an action-heavy project.
“This is very new for me, bagong-bagong character. Bagong genre din, first time kong mag-action-drama,” Padilla said. “I think people will also be surprised sa magiging takbo ng kuwento dito, and no’ng character ko dito.”
To prepare for the physically demanding role, Padilla revealed that she has resumed martial arts training and is undergoing stunt work.
“Mentally, yes! I’m ready. Work always excites me. I think everyone who knows me, knows that I thrive while on set. So I’m excited to go back,” she shared. “Physically, I’ve been training for the show. Dahil nga action-drama ito, medyo mapapasabak tayo sa action.”
She added that she has returned to Muay Thai training and is learning new stunts.
“I’ve started taking Muay Thai lessons again. I’m learning stunts from Erwin Tagle,” she said. “Emotionally, I would say I’m always ready.”
Padilla has also shared glimpses of her training on her Instagram Stories, further building excitement among fans.

The series marks Padilla’s first television project with Anderson, while she reunites with Gutierrez more than a decade after their first collaboration in the 2013 GMA Network series ‘Love & Lies’.

“First time to work with Gerald Anderson. With Richard, worked with him a long time ago. He’s such a pleasant person to work with. I’m so excited how we’re all going to balance each other out,” Padilla said.
The yet-to-be-titled action-drama series will be directed by FM Reyes under JRB Creative Production, and was previously teased during the 2025 ABS-CBN Christmas Special.
This project is considered one of ABS-CBN’s biggest offerings for the year and marks Padilla’s most awaited teleserye comeback after her appearances in hit Kapamilya shows such as ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, ‘Sino ang Maysala: Mea Culpa’, and ‘My Dear Heart’. She was last seen on television with a special participation in the 2024 series ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ and officially returned to Star Magic in August 2025.
Production details and the official title of the series are expected to be announced soon.
