Social media personality Meiko Montefalco recently caught attention online after sharing an emotional post about an experience that left her both surprised and unsettled—being told, “I’ll pay for it.”
In a candid Facebook post, Montefalco admitted she is not used to having someone shoulder expenses for her, hinting at years of being financially responsible for others.
“Jusko put*ngna papano ba tumanggap pag sinabihan akong ‘I’ll pay for it?’ Di ako sanay.
Ilang taon din kasi na ako bumubuhay e. Ganto pala pakiramdam pag sagot ka nila?” she wrote.
Montefalco did not name anyone in her post, but followers quickly speculated that her statement was a subtle reference to her estranged husband, Patrick Bernardino, and a possible new romantic interest who allegedly offered to pay for her.
The post drew an outpouring of supportive comments from fans, many of whom celebrated what they saw as a new chapter in her life.
Montefalco has been open about her controversial separation from Bernardino, which stemmed from allegations of infidelity. In May 2025, she went viral after publicly confronting her husband over cheating claims, revealing that the incident was not the first time she had forgiven him.
“I decided to record this confrontation to serve as my evidence. I was able to forgive before because I didn’t know anything,” Montefalco said in a previous viral video.
She also claimed that the most painful revelation was learning that her husband allegedly had an affair on the very day of their wedding anniversary.
In recent weeks, Montefalco has fueled further speculation after posting what netizens described as a “hard launch” of a mystery man on TikTok. While she did not identify him, her caption read: “May crush ata saken ’to. Papicture nang papicture. Pinagbigyan ko na nga!”
Photos and videos from her birthday celebration, shared by friends on social media, also showed the same man, prompting many to believe she is now in a new relationship. The development was even acknowledged by popular online personality Senyora, who commented: “Good morning sa lahat! Lalo na kay Meiko na napunta na rin sa tunay na tao. Congrats!”
Despite the buzz, Montefalco has yet to confirm if the mystery man is officially her boyfriend.
