Vice Ganda has once again stirred online speculation after seemingly hinting that his ‘It’s Showtime’ co-host Ryan Bang may now be single, months after rumors surfaced about a possible breakup with his fiancée, Paola Huyong.
The moment happened during the January 22 episode of ‘It’s Showtime’, specifically in the segment ‘Laro Laro Pick,’ where hosts Vice Ganda, Jhong Hilario, and Vhong Navarro chatted with a contestant from Antipolo.
The contestant shared that she works as a caddie at a golf club where Ryan Bang frequently plays. Asked about her experience, she remarked, “Galante po siya. Galante po,” referring to Ryan’s generosity. She then jokingly added, “Mahilig po sa magandang caddie,” which immediately sent Jhong and Vhong into laughter, while Vice Ganda paused in surprise.
“’Di ako ‘yun. Ako?” Ryan said, clearly caught off guard by the comment.
Vice Ganda then stepped in, defending his co-host with remarks that quickly reignited speculation about Ryan’s relationship status. “Eh binata naman ‘yung anak ko. Ano namang masama doon? ‘Di ba?” he said.
“Oo,” Vhong replied in agreement.
Vice doubled down, adding, “Binata. Eligible.”
The exchange did not go unnoticed by viewers, with many netizens interpreting Vice Ganda’s words as a subtle confirmation that Ryan and his non-showbiz fiancée Paola Huyong may have already gone their separate ways.
Ryan first introduced Paola to the public in February 2024 during the opening night of his restaurant, Paldo. He previously shared that they met in April 2023 at a casual football game, where they exchanged contact details and eventually grew close through shared business discussions. Paola later announced their engagement in June 2024, and Ryan openly spoke about their plans to marry, targeting June 2026.
However, breakup rumors began circulating in September 2025 after Paola closed her café, Siesta Horchata, which was located in the same building as Ryan’s restaurant. Around the same time, fans noticed that Paola had removed her engagement post from Instagram. By late October, the two had also unfollowed each other on the platform, further fueling speculation.
Neither Ryan nor Paola has issued a public statement addressing the rumors. Following Vice Ganda’s “binata” and “eligible” remarks on ‘It’s Showtime’, questions about Ryan Bang’s current relationship status have once again taken center stage, with fans eagerly awaiting clarification from the TV host himself.
