Actress Claudine Barretto was rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries while filming scenes for the TV5 series ‘Totoy Bato’.
In an Instagram post, Claudine disclosed that the accident happened on February 8 during taping, where she hit her head, back, and hips hard.
“To all my palanggas and Claudinians, I had an accident yesterday (February 8) during Totoy Bato. I hit my head, back and hips really hard. I was rushed to Saint Luke’s BGC. Now I am trying to recuperate. Thank you for all your love, concerns, and prayers. We are still waiting for the results and I will keep you posted.
“Though I am in so much pain, your love, support, and prayers strengthens me. Thank you and Mahal ko po kayong lahat,” she wrote.
Claudine was brought to Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City for medical attention. As of her latest update, she is recovering and awaiting further test results.
The actress did not provide additional details about how the accident occurred but reassured fans that she is recuperating.
Her post was flooded with “get well soon” messages from supporters and colleagues in the industry.

The incident comes shortly after Claudine and her siblings, including actresses Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto, mourned the passing of their mother, Inday Barretto, on January 29 at the age of 89.
