The long wait is finally over for fans of Coco Martin and Julia Montes.
Following the finale of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ on March 13, Coco will return to primetime just two days later in a brand-new series titled ‘Sigabo’, premiering March 16 across ABS-CBN’s entertainment platforms.

In an interview on ‘TV Patrol’, Coco shared why it took time before he and Julia reunited onscreen.
“Naghihintay ako ng right project para sa pagsasama namin ni Julia.”
He revealed that Julia has been undergoing intense preparation for the role.
“Si Juls ngayon, pukpukan ang training. Nag-aaral siya ngayon ng baril, ng fight routines, at motor. Inakma namin ‘yung kwento na talagang fit para sa amin, sa estado namin ngayon.”
Unlike the heavy family drama and action tone of Batang Quiapo, Sigabo will present a different flavor for the real-life couple.
“First time namin magla-light. Pasasayahin naman natin ‘yung mga tahanan gabi-gabi.”
Coco also disclosed that the series will be episodic.
“Halos lahat ng mga kasama namin mga comedian. Tapos episodic siya, iba-ibang kwento, iba-ibang mission. Para iba-ibang experience every week.”
The show will blend action, comedy, and romance, offering viewers fresh missions and storylines each week.
Coco reportedly wrapped taping for ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ weeks ago to make way for the new project, ensuring a seamless transition between the two series.
He expressed hope that fans will support Sigabo the same way they supported ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ and ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’.
Beyond the series, fans are also eagerly waiting for another milestone in Coco and Julia’s real-life relationship — the much-anticipated “I do.”
For now, RAWR Nation can look forward to seeing Coco and Julia back together on screen starting March 16.
