Fans of actress and social media personality Andrea Brillantes were alarmed after noticing unusual changes on her Instagram account on the morning of March 4, when all of her photos were suddenly deleted and her profile picture was replaced with a blank image.

The incident quickly sparked concern online, especially after unauthorized posts appeared on the actress’s Instagram Stories, which many believe were uploaded by hackers.
One of the posts read: “Toxic daw ang GAGA,” a message that fans suspect did not come from the actress herself.
Andrea’s close friend and content creator Bea Borres confirmed through Instagram Stories that the actress’s account had indeed been compromised.
Borres shared a screenshot of her conversation with Andrea to inform the public that not only her Instagram account but also her mobile phone had reportedly been hacked.
In a follow-up post, Bea warned the public not to engage with the compromised account.
“Hi, everyone. Blythe’s [Instagram] got hacked. [Please] don’t interact na lang,” she wrote.
Another friend of Andrea, content creator Danica Ontengco, also posted about the incident and urged fans to avoid reporting the account to prevent complications in the recovery process.
“[Please] don’t report @blythe, so she can still retrieve her [account],” she said.
Andrea’s fan community also released a statement addressing the situation and advising the public to remain cautious.
“We would like to inform everyone that the official Instagram account of Andrea Brillantes (@blythe) has been hacked/compromised.
We strongly advise everyone to refrain from engaging with any recent posts, stories, live videos, direct messages, or suspicious links from the account until an official update has been released.”
The group added that Andrea’s management team is currently working on securing and recovering the account.
Andrea currently has more than 14 million followers on Instagram and follows 1,372 accounts, making the platform one of her primary channels for connecting with fans.
As of writing, there has been no confirmation yet whether the account has already been recovered.
