Asialink Group of Companies (Asialink), a leading Philippine non-bank financial institution (NBFI), has signed a Php 5 billion corporate notes facility agreement arranged by UnionBank of the Philippines (UnionBank) as issue manager. UnionBank and Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) serve as mandated lead arrangers, and bookrunners, and together with EastWest Banking Corporation (EastWest), are participating as noteholders. The agreement marks a significant step in strengthening Asialink’s financial capacity and accelerating its mission to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

Jordan, Jr. – Group CEO, Asialink Group of Companies; Antonia Y. Lugtu, Board of Director – Asialink Group; Gonzalo Benjamin A. Bongolan, Senior Vice President – Treasury and Investment Banking Sector – Land Bank of the Philippines; Elaine Ramirez- Manalo, Assistant Department Manager – Land Bank of the Philippines, Zenaida A. Ong, Head of Corporate Banking – EastWest Bank; and Ruth G. Co, FVP, during the signing ceremony of Asialink Group’s landmark financing deal with UnionBank, Land Bank of The Philippines, and EastWest.

“This corporate notes facility agreement is a testament to the trust that leading financial institutions place in Asialink’s vision,” said Robert B. Jordan Jr., CEO of the Asialink Group of Companies. “With UnionBank, LANDBANK, and EastWest as key partners, we are better positioned to scale our operations, innovate our services, and provide faster and more accessible financing solutions to MSMEs that drive local economic growth.”

This multi-institutional collaboration comes at a time when demand for agile and responsive financing solutions continues to rise, particularly among MSMEs navigating evolving market conditions. With the new funding, Asialink’s loan portfolio is projected to grow from Php 48 billion to Php 60 billion by year end, expanding its capacity to serve more entrepreneurs and fuel business growth in communities nationwide.

Asialink affirms its commitment to supporting the growth of MSMEs and highlights the significance of its milestone transaction with UnionBank. “Asialink is pleased to partner with UnionBank in this milestone transaction,” said Meynard Mendoza, Asialink Group’s Finance Director. “Our dedication to empowering MSMEs aligns with our mission to enable businesses and communities through meaningful financial solutions. We value UnionBank’s collaboration in this initiative and look forward to a partnership that fosters growth, resilience, and greater financial inclusion.”

The corporate notes facility underscores growing confidence in the non-bank financial sector’s role in expanding financial inclusion, particularly in underserved and high-growth regional markets. By strengthening its funding base, Asialink aims to reach more entrepreneurs who need timely and flexible financing solutions but may have limited access to traditional banking channels. Structured as a multi-lender facility, the transaction also optimizes funding efficiency while supporting Asialink’s continued growth.

As one of the Philippines’ most dynamic NBFI, Asialink plays a pivotal role in empowering communities by providing financial services to individuals and MSMEs with limited access to traditional banking channels through its subsidiaries—Asialink Finance Corporation (AFC), Global Dominion Financing Inc. (GDFI), and South Asialink Finance Corporation (SAFC).

With this strengthened capital base, AFC, the Group’s flagship entity, is well-positioned to deepen its commitment to supporting MSMEs nationwide, expanding access to financing for entrepreneurs across the country. From 2025 to January 2026, AFC has assisted 34,611 MSMEs nationwide and enabled opportunities for more than 3,000 women-led enterprises through its Women’s Access to Inclusive Support (WAIS) loan initiative.

“This milestone reinforces our commitment to empowering Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Samuel Cariño, President and CEO of AFC. “With the support of our consortium of partner lenders, we are better equipped to provide accessible and timely financing to MSMEs, helping them grow, innovate, and contribute to local communities across the country.”
