Rising boxing prospect and Sparkle artist Eman Bacosa Pacquiao expressed his excitement after getting the opportunity to work with his longtime idol, Piolo Pascual, as part of a recent brand campaign.
Eman spoke about the experience during a press luncheon where he was introduced as an official ambassador of IAM Worldwide, joining Pascual who is also one of the brand’s prominent endorsers.
“Very exciting po! Mayroon din po siya naturo [sa akin] pagdating sa acting,” Eman said.
The young athlete also admitted that he initially felt nervous as he continues to transition into showbiz, but found guidance from Pascual.
“Nasasabi ko sa kanya na kinakabahan ako kasi hindi pa talaga ako sanay sa mga ganitong bagay. Nag-a-advice din siya na huwag akong kabahan, i-enjoy ko muna ‘yung mga moments,” he shared.
“Sometimes, ang masasabi niya lang is be thankful and enjoy lang,” he added.
Eman also expressed interest in working with Pascual again in the future, whether in endorsements or acting projects.
“I hope na sa endorsement pa rin or if ever sa mga acting. Action, puwede. Hoping!” he said.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Eman, who previously met Pascual during an episode of ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’, where viewers noted their resemblance.
Beyond his ventures in entertainment, Eman continues to make strides in boxing, recently securing a fourth-round stoppage victory over Indonesia’s Reynold Kundimang in Tagbilaran City.
