Singer-comedienne Tuesday Vargas addressed the harsh criticism she received online after openly appealing for job opportunities on social media.

Vargas had posted a message on Facebook asking producers and talent coordinators to consider hiring her for projects. While some netizens praised her honesty and courage, others responded with ridicule, calling her “laos,” “walang career,” and “attitude.”
In a new Facebook post, Vargas said she was not angry at those who mocked her, choosing instead to understand them.
“WALA AKONG PAKE!
She acknowledged that while many people showed concern, some responded with hurtful remarks.
‘Kesyo laos, kesyo attitude, kesyo di mahusay kaya walang karera.’”
Despite the criticism, Vargas said she does not hold resentment toward her detractors.
The comedienne stressed that she simply asked for opportunities to work and earn income.
I asked nicely and with dignity.
I was not looking for a handout, but instead an opprtunity to use my skills that will produce income.”
She added that she believes the challenges she is facing are part of a lesson in her life.
Vargas also addressed comments mocking her for doing online live selling, saying there is nothing shameful about earning a living through honest work.
She also shared a message for fellow breadwinners and people searching for jobs.
“Lord bless all the breadwinners and those seeking for jobs that you will also smile upon them just as you did when I prayed.”
Vargas ended her post by thanking those who have continued to support her and provide work opportunities.
Padayon!”
