The birit duo JMielle, composed of JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, emerged as the grand winner of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar Philippines’ Season 4 during its grand showdown on April 12.

For their final performance, the duo delivered a powerful rendition inspired by Grammy winner Jennifer Holliday and Filipina-American singer Jessica Sanchez, performing the iconic song ‘And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going’. Their performance drew strong reactions from both the live audience and online viewers, quickly trending on social media.

JMielle secured the title with the highest combined score of 94%, including the top jury score during the grand showdown. Throughout the season, they were named weekly winners three times for their standout impersonations of various music icons.

Following their win, the duo expressed gratitude to the show’s production team for the trust and opportunity to showcase their talents through challenging performances and transformations. They also thanked each other, highlighting their strong partnership and support system from start to finish.

As grand winners, they took home a ₱1 million cash prize.

Other finalists also impressed during the showdown, including Jason Dy as Beyoncé, Jarlo Base as Freddie Mercury, Alexa Ilacad as Shakira, Dia Mate as Rihanna, Akira Morishita as Justin Timberlake, and Rufa Mae Quinto as Katy Perry.

The show’s jury panel included Erik Santos, Karla Estrada, Nyoy Volante, Klarisse de Guzman, Ogie Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano. Veteran singer Sharon Cuneta was unable to attend the finale.

Meanwhile, former host Billy Crawford returned for a special performance during the event.

Prior to their latest win, JMielle also made history as the first grand champions of ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan Duets’ in 2023, further cementing their reputation as one of the most formidable vocal duos in the country.
