Jollibee Group Foundation marks 20 years of shared joy, impact, and partnerships

For two decades, the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) has worked alongside farmers, schools, local governments, and partners across the Philippines to strengthen food security, create livelihoods, and open opportunities for communities to thrive.

Dr. Tony Tan Caktiong, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Jollibee Group and Chairman Emeritus of the Jollibee Group Foundation, delivers his keynote message during the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary celebration, reflecting on two decades of partnerships and community impact.

It is through these partnerships that JGF has helped transform hundreds of lives, launching programs that aim to address hunger, improve livelihoods, and create opportunities for Filipino communities.

Its Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP) has supported 30 farmer groups that have supplied the Jollibee Group since 2008, helping farmers become part of the company’s supply chain. As of 2025, partner farmers supplied 31% of the Jollibee Group’s vegetable requirements and 42% of its white onions.

Meanwhile, the Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) program has provided nutritious meals to more than 300,000 students since 2007, helping address undernutrition among Filipino schoolchildren. Today, 40 BLT Kitchens serve over 43,000 students across partner schools.

Through its FoodAID program, the Foundation and its partners have served more than 18 million meals to communities affected by disasters since 2020, including 3.4 million meals distributed in 2025 alone.

Meanwhile, the JGF ACE Scholarship Program (Access, Curriculum, and Employability) provides educational support to underprivileged Filipino youth, focusing on Agro-Entrepreneurship (AE) Quick Service Restaurant Operations (QSRO) and Mechatronics. Since 2005, it has helped students finish school, gain technical skills, and secure employment in the food service or farming sectors.

These programs reflect the belief that lasting impact comes from collaboration and long-term partnerships.

An Evening of Celebration, A Commitment To Community

To celebrate this anniversary milestone, JGF gathered and recognized its partners and stakeholders who have contributed to the Foundation’s impact over the past twenty years for its 20th Anniversary Partners’ Appreciation Night, themed “Seasons of Shared Joy: Dalawang Dekadang Saya.”

“Tonight is not just about celebrating milestones. It is about celebrating people—people who have worked together, often quietly, over many years to make a real difference in the lives of others,” said Dr. Tony Tan Caktiong, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Jollibee Group and Chairman Emeritus of JGF.

Grace Tan Caktiong, whose vision and leadership helped establish the Jollibee Group Foundation, is recognized during the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary celebration honoring partners and milestones over the past two decades.

Dr. Tan Caktiong also paid tribute to the Trustees of the Foundation and its leaders, who guided its growth. Grace Tan Caktiong, in particular, was cited for her vision, dedication, and heart in building the Foundation from the ground up and guiding it into what it is today, “… an organization with a life of its own, one that continues to grow and meaningfully serve the communities,” he said.

Gisela Tiongson, President of the Jollibee Group Foundation, expressed gratitude to the guests who gathered to celebrate the milestone and the shared mission that brought them together.

“We are truly thankful for each one of you who chose to be here tonight,” she said. “You are not just our guests—you are part of the larger Jollibee Group community, bound together by shared values and generous hearts. What makes this evening special is not only that we are celebrating 20 years, but that the people in this room represent every part of that journey.”

Jollibee Group Foundation Chairman William Tan Untiong unveils the Foundation’s refreshed logo during its 20th Anniversary celebration, symbolizing a renewed commitment to nourishing communities and expanding partnerships in the years ahead.

A new chapter for JGF

The anniversary celebration also marked the unveiling of the Foundation’s refreshed logo, signaling the start of a new chapter for JGF.

“While the look may evolve, our mission remains the same: to nourish communities and help build a future where joy continues to grow,” said William Tan Untiong, Chairman of the Jollibee Group Foundation, during the unveiling.

The refreshed identity reflects JGF’s evolving mission of uplifting the dignity and well-being of communities through partnerships that advance food security and the joy of sharing, as well as its vision for smallholder farmers to prosper and for communities to be nourished and thriving.

Looking ahead, the Foundation aims to deepen its programs and expand partnerships to reach more communities across the country.

“As we look ahead, may the next seasons bring deeper partnerships, wider opportunities, and richer harvests of hope—so that together, we can continue sharing joy where it is needed most,” Dr. Tan Caktiong said. ###
